Facebook is Testing New More Animated Reactions
Facebook is currently testing out more animated emoji reactions! Obviously, there are some people for whom Reactions have become a key feature, and reports last year indicated that Reactions use is steadily increasing over time (particularly the ‘Angry’ Reaction). Facebook has also made Reactions a more significant signal than a basic Like in the News Feed algorithm, so there’s also a practical, reach benefit from the option, which, for marketers, could provide more incentive to try and drive more Reactions from your audience.
Snapchat Announces Deal With Shopify, To Increase Ad Integration For All
According to Social Media Today, Snapchat has announced a new partnership with Shopify which will enable Shopify merchants to purchase ads on Snapchat using their own branded Tile in the Discover section. As noted by CNBC, “This integration will allow companies to build and manage snapchat story ad campaigns directly through an app in Shopify’s self-serving buying platform.” Similarly, you can manage Facebook and Google ad campaigns via Shopify already! As mentioned in previous episodes, apps are quickly adopting new technology that makes shopping, and more so, purchasing items very easy.
